I thought the 21st Century Democrats were part of the progressive wing of the Democratic Party.  Now they are honoring Rahm Emanuel as an "extraordinary leader who is charting the course for the future of America."  I know he's powerful, but he's the mouthpiece for Democratic centrism.

Maryland's state capital newspaper (Annapolis CapitalGazette) is conducting an online poll to determine support for the death penalty.  Annapolis represents one of the highest swing districts in the state.

Maryland needs help repealing the death penalty.  Can the netroots get involved by helping convince our conservative Democratic colleagues to do the right thing?
