Romney campaign aide under investigation....

Fri Jun 22, 2007 at 01:17:57 PM PDT

The Boston Globe web site has a story up, Romney aide, targeted in probe, takes leave of absence.

Another Republican in trouble with the law, how shocking!!!! :-)

Mitt Romney's director of operations is taking a leave of absence from the presidential campaign after becoming the focus of an investigation into allegations that he posed as a state trooper in a recorded phone call complaining about a company's driver, the campaign announced today.

Apparently Romney's Director of Operations, Jay Garrity, likes impersonating law officers, more on the flip side....

Today I told the DCCC to stuff it....

Fri May 25, 2007 at 09:21:02 PM PDT

I'm usually not one for emotional outbursts. And even when I do, like today, I'm pretty even tempered about it. I don't yell, curse, or insult. I just say what I have to say and move on.

Today, I sent the DCCC email and politely told them to "stuff it".

Couric's lame "corrected" Notebook post on Obama

Mon Apr 16, 2007 at 01:33:30 PM PDT

I took a look to see if CBS and/or Katie Couric had responded to the blogstorm ( Katie Couric repeats the madrassa smear against Obama ) over her Notebook entry about Barak Obama last week. I was curious if massive complaints from the blog-o-sphere had any influence on Couric or CBS?

It turns out, yes, we did have an impact. Couric has posted a "corrected" notebook entry.

Join me over the fold, to see just how lame the "corrected" notebook entry is.

Massachusetts press goes Mitt hunting....

Sun Apr 08, 2007 at 09:01:08 AM PDT

I'm sure that most DK regulars are aware of Mitt Romney's latest right-wingnut pander attempts. Mitt has inflated claims about his hunting and shooting experiences and his history of gun ownership.

Mitt has figuratively shoot himself in the foot with these exaggerated claims. Little did he know, we was also drawing a nice bulls-eye on his back for his "Home-state" (snicker) press to aim at.

Geez, don't these people know that hunting on Sunday is illegal in Massachusetts?

Red State's latest take on Michael Ware... with a "giggle"

Tue Apr 03, 2007 at 09:50:31 AM PDT

Occasionally I take a stroll over at Red State to see what they are talking about.

I was surprised today to see they've actually admitted that there was probably nothing to Drudge's report of CNN journalist Michael Ware heckling of Sen. McCain.

Join me on the flip to sample Red State saying "whoops, my bad"

Well, almost....

Listen to the outrage on the Christian Right web: <chirp, chirp...>

Sun Oct 01, 2006 at 08:05:34 PM PDT

Now that three full days have passed since the revelation that a U.S. Congressman is a predatory pedophile. And that the highest levels of Republican congressional leadership was aware of this situation, and apparently did nothing to prevent this person from having access to young boys in their charge.

And since that it is now Sunday evening, I am sure that "family-values" religious-right leadership, having had amble time to pray and reflect on this transgression. I'm sure these leaders of moral clarity, today ascended their pulpits, expressed shock, disgust, and condemnation against Rep. Foley and the House Republication Leadership.

So lets take a twirl around the Christian Right Web to see what statements have been made by these leaders.
